Property Overview

Diamonds Mapenzi Beach occupies four hectares of tropical gardens beside Kiwengwa Beach on Zanzibar’s east coast. Palm trees and flowering bougainvillea surround the accommodation, while the swimming pools, restaurants and communal areas extend towards the Indian Ocean.

Accommodation range includes Garden Rooms, Superior Rooms, Superior Family Rooms and several beachfront villa categories. Traditional African and Swahili influences appear throughout the rooms, with mosquito-netted beds and private verandas among the principal features.

Diamonds Mapenzi Beach offers Garden Rooms, Superior Rooms, Superior Family Rooms and a selection of beachfront villas and suites. Accommodation is decorated with traditional African or Swahili influences and includes mosquito-netted beds, individually controlled air conditioning, a safe, minibar, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a private bathroom with shower.

The 21 Garden Rooms occupy the highest part of the resort and are surrounded by tropical gardens. They provide a king-size four-poster bed or twin beds in selected rooms, together with a private veranda.

The 48 Superior Rooms offer additional space and a large private veranda. King-size and twin configurations are available.

Superior Family Rooms include a main bedroom and a separate smaller sleeping area for children, providing more practical accommodation for families.

Beach Villas are positioned close to or directly beside the shore and include a private veranda. Current options range from Sea View Beach Villas and Sea Front Beach Villas to categories with a private pool.
