Set directly along Diani Beach, the resort occupies spacious tiered gardens planted with coconut palms, tropical trees and flowering vegetation. Monkeys are regularly seen around the grounds, while the white hotel buildings stand among the greenery close to the Indian Ocean.

The property has 170 rooms divided between Superior rooms with garden views, Bahari rooms positioned nearer the pool and beach, and Ocean Suites with separate sitting areas. Superior rooms overlook the gardens, while Bahari rooms are located closer to the swimming pool and beach and have a balcony with a side view towards the Indian Ocean. Ocean Suites add a separate sitting room and a larger terrace.

Food & Drink

RESTAURANT

The main restaurant serves buffet meals as part of the all-inclusive programme, with food prepared from fresh ingredients whenever possible. The evening programme includes changing Italian, Greek, Mexican, Swahili, African and barbecue themes.

À la carte menus, set menus and private meals on the beach can be arranged for special occasions at an additional charge. The drinks selection includes wines, cocktails, smoothies and milkshakes. Smoking is restricted to designated sections of the restaurant terraces.

BEACH BAR

Open from 11:00 to 16:00, the Beach Bar serves made-to-order snacks including pizzas, burgers and African dishes.

MAASAI BAR

The Maasai Bar operates during meal periods and from 18:00 to 23:00. International cocktails and selected all-inclusive drinks are available during happy hour on the restaurant terrace between 18:00 and 19:00, accompanied by the evening entertainment programme.

POOL BAR

The Pool Bar is open from 11:00 until midnight. Its all-inclusive selection includes local beer, selected spirits, cocktails, house wine, fruit juices and soft drinks served by the glass.

Included sports range from water polo and aqua fitness to beach volleyball, beach football, tennis and table tennis. Guests can also learn the Kenyan board game Bao, join an introductory Swahili session or take part in a group game of giant memory.

Further options are available through external providers, including scuba diving, kitesurfing, dhow excursions, jet-skiing and deep-sea fishing. Leisure Lodge Golf Club is around five minutes away, while safari arrangements should be made through a tour operator rather than directly at the resort.
