Preskil Island Resort is a 4-star superior resort set on a private peninsula at Pointe Jérôme, close to the historic village of Mahébourg in south-east Mauritius. The property faces Île aux Aigrettes and a wide lagoon, with views extending towards Lion Mountain and the surrounding islets. Blue Bay Marine Park and several cultural and historical sites are also within easy reach.

The resort has 214 rooms, three restaurants, three bars and two outdoor swimming pools. Its main infinity pool leads into a shallower area that is popular with younger guests, while a separate pool serves the family section.

Families are well catered for through the Tikoulou Kids Club for children aged 3 to 12 and a dedicated Baby Club for younger children. There is also a fitness room, two tennis courts and a programme of live music, cultural shows and themed evening entertainment.

Preskil Island Resort has seven room categories, ranging from Superior Rooms to larger family accommodation and Junior Suites. All rooms are non-smoking and include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a television, safe, minibar, hairdryer and a balcony or terrace.

Superior Garden View and Superior Sea View Rooms each measure 45 square metres and accommodate 2 adults with 1 infant, child or teenager.

The 53-square-metre Family Garden Rooms have two separate rooms and are located within the resort’s family area. They can accommodate 2 adults and up to 3 infants, children or teenagers.

Premium Family Rooms measure 51 square metres and accommodate either 2 adults with 1 additional adult or teenager, or 2 adults with 2 children and 1 infant.

Deluxe Family Rooms provide two separate rooms across 58 square metres. Located on the ground and first floors, they have sea views and accommodate 2 adults with up to 3 infants, children or teenagers.

Food & Drink

Preskil Island Resort has three restaurants and three bars, giving guests a choice of relaxed buffet dining, à la carte meals and drinks beside the beach.

Rendez-Vous is the main restaurant and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its three dining pavilions offer local and international dishes prepared at interactive cooking stations.

Mosaïc opens for à la carte dinner and specialises in Mediterranean cuisine. Guests can also stop at its Brazerro corner for a pre-dinner drink overlooking the resort.

Set beside the beach, 1810 serves lunch and dinner with views towards Île aux Aigrettes and Lion Mountain. The daytime menu is designed for casual beach dining, while dinner focuses on seafood. Meals at 1810 carry an additional charge under the resort’s standard meal packages.

Banyan Spa & Wellness covers 720 square metres and has eight treatment rooms, including both single and double rooms. Facilities include a sauna, hammam, Vichy treatment room, hair salon and nail bar.

Its treatments draw on Mauritian ingredients and traditions, with options such as curry-leaf, pineapple and coconut scrubs, moringa body treatments and massages using frangipani essential oils.
