How far is the nearest beach?

The beach forms part of Kuramathi Island itself, with long stretches of sand running around much of the resort. Beach villas and bungalows sit close to the shoreline, while water villas extend over the lagoon and selected categories provide direct sea access. One of the island's defining natural features is its long sandbank, which extends from the western end of the island. Guests therefore have numerous beach and lagoon areas to choose from rather than relying on a single main swimming spot.

Distance from Airport

Niva Kuramathi Maldives is approximately 56 kilometres from Velana International Airport. Guests can reach the island by a scenic seaplane flight of around 20 minutes or by scheduled speedboat, which generally takes between 75 and 90 minutes. Speedboats operate at fixed times, while seaplane flights operate during daylight hours and are arranged around international arrivals where possible. Resort airport representatives assist guests with the onward transfer after arrival in Malé.
